Handground from high grade .229" thick 154CM stainless steel, the Orion is the epitome of a compact workhorse, while retaining the graceful, classic lines that are rapidly becoming a Mercworx hallmark. With an overall length of 7 1/2 " and a blade length of 3 3/4" the Orion is the most compact of all Mercworx fixed blades, lending itself to unobtrusive carry for those who require uncompromising strength and quality in a carry size that leaves a minimal footprint.

Since its introduction, the Orion has already engendered a large following among both undercover operatives, and hunters and fishermen. In order to broaden its degree of versatility, Mercworx provides the Orion with a non-sharpened top false edge, so the outdoorsman can extent his index finger over the top of the blade for greater control while doing fine, delicate work such as skinning or caping.
