EMERSON POLICE UTILITY KNIFE
The Emerson Police Utility Knife is a product of the many requests for an Emerson designed fixed blade specifically Law Enforcement applications. Out of hundreds of requests, there were four important characteristics which were common to all. These were
- Practical Size
- Correct Ergonomics for Hard Use
- Blade Design capable of Prying
- Ability to cut
The Police Utility Knife has answered all those requests with a knife that may be one of the finest Tactical Utility Knives ever developed. The knife features a superior ergonomic design, a short stout 154-CM blade with an extremely strong V grind, and is honed to a razor sharpness. The design also incorporates an exposed steel section at the butt of the handle for hammering, and two holes for securing the knife with paracord, if necessary. The handle features a deep guard and positive thumb ramp designed to provide a, "no slip forward" safety grip for the knife.
This knife, whose prototypes were tested by SWAT Teams in some of the most dangerous proving grounds in America, has already qualified itself up to the most difficult of tasks
The Emerson Police Utility Knife comes with a versatile, adaptable, ballistic nylon sheath, featuring a Kydex insert to prevent accidental penetration. The Kydex insert is removable for cleaning / replacement.
Attaching the sheath to your equipment isn't a problem - the belt loop features velcro flaps so you don't have to remove everything on your LBE / duty belt to put on - take off the knife. There are 4 lash down points, and all hardware has been blackened to eliminate those "sniper reference points"
The ballistic nylon sheath features ambidextrous setup, with a reversable (and removable) snap strap. There is also an utility pouch for small item storage
